4 Stars good for light running
I’ve been wearing this shoe for the last month or so and I like the lightness and simplicity. I used to wear the 21 series, but it has a lot more stability and control than I need for the level of exercise I’m doing (walking/running 2-5 miles). However, I will switch back to the 21 series when I start upping my mileage again. This shoe wouldn’t cut it for training for a half marathon for me.

5 Stars Great Neutral Cushion Shoe!
These shoes are a great buy for anyone who needs a neutral cushion shoe with a soft, pillowy feel. I bought these after having my feet and gait analyzed and have been incredibly happy with them. They are fairly light for the amount of cushioning given and they have been perfect since my first run in them. I wouldn’t recommend them for over pronators or supinators or anyone needing a motion control or stability shoe, but for a neutral cushion shoe, I’m extremely happy with them.

It appears that these shoes are seconds. The inside and outside of the shoe going around the bottom have black marks on both shoes that won’t come off. The shoes should have been sold at a discounted price and not shold at full price.

I am going to keep them but will not buy from [...] again.

2 Stars Too short!
I ordered these shoes because I have always loved Ascis Gel shoes and the Size 8 always fit and was supportive and comfortable. (I normally wear a size 7 1/2 in regular shoes). My last pair of Asics Gels were my favourite EVER but were wearing out badly from the inside, around the toes & I knew it was time for a new pair. I ordered these and I was so disappointed to find that they were uncomfortable and felt distinctly short. I tried them for one class, wearing my orthotics and had terrible toe cramps. I will have to try again…but I don’t think I will order shoes online again…even though aerobic shoes are almost impossible to find in stores…I will persist…

4 Stars Not true to size!
I have owned many pairs of Asics over the years and one thing I’ve learned is they do not run true to size. Never experienced this problem with other brands of sport shoes only with Asics. If you need an 8, order an 8 1/2, etc. That is why I gave this only 4 stars. This is the first time I’ve purchased this model GEL-150 Training Shoe. I wear a 7W but a size 7 in Asics is usually too short and is more like a 6 1/2 so I ordered this shoe in 7 1/2W The length is exactly like a a 7 so I’m happy about that, however, even though it is W width it is not a true wide (just slightly more roomy than a medium width – and Asics does not make WW). It fits ok as long as I do not wear thick sport socks. Now for the positive features of this shoe. It has excellent arch support for those who have fallen arches or have flat feet and if you need special arch support you can substitute your own orthotics. It also has great stability to keep your foot from pronating. All in all it is a good shoe but I do wish that Asics would make their shoes in true sizes and widths.

5 Stars The Best So Far
I have had these shoes for a couple of months and they are by far the best fitness shoe I have come across in the last ten years. It is important to keep in mind that the White/Storm/Lilac shoe is a slightly different design from the White/Blue/Silver in terms of material used for the upper. I have the White/Blue/Silver which has the more solid leather-style upper with minimal mesh, whereas the other is a primarily mesh upper. I am testing a pair of the competitor’s fitness shoes that have the primarily mesh upper and I have to say that these Asics are far superior. I wear a 7.5 US with a medium width and the Gel-150TR shoes fit true to size. They are comfortable, with just the right amount of cushion on the inner sole and the perfect arch support for someone with average to slightly high arches. With every other fitness shoe I have tried I have needed an arch supporting insole just to keep my arches from spasming, but that problem is nonexistent with these shoes. They are holding up well both structurally and aesthetically and I plan on buying another pair in a couple of weeks “just in case.” The shoes I fall in love with always seem to go out of style and these are far too comfortable and cute to miss out on.

2 Stars Shoes comfy..but a second
These shoes are great, comfy and good to run in, but when they arrived the soles on both sides were covered in black paint stuff..instead of being white like in the picture. They were obviously seconds and I would not buy from this supplier again..they did not say seconds…But they did arrive promptly, and were well packaged.

I bought these as a present for my wife. She was complaining about how much her ankles and heel hurt after jogging. She has incredibly flat feet and kind of walks like a duck with her feet pointing waayy out. I thought that her $10 sneakers from Wal-Mart may be the problem. I gave her these ASICS for her B-day. She went for a jog this afternoon with the ASICS and said her feet felt great. I did not find many ‘wide’ size running shoes for women in the stores so I gave these a shot. They fit her perfect.

5 Stars Best shoes I have ever owned.
My husband bought me these shoes as a Christmas present. He research what was needed for my particular foot, which is wide and over pronated, and I can say that this is the best athletic shoe I have ever owned. If I could find a way to wear them with dresses and not look stupid I would.

2 Stars Problem with shoe
At first try-on, I was very happy with these shoes. But after a couple of short distances wearing them, I realized that the support band around the back of each shoe was too rigid around the upper heel. It has caused a lot of pain in my feet and I stopped wearing the shoes. Normally, when I read bad reviews of a product, I am the first to be skeptical of the reviewer. But this is very real and I feel that I need to warn others who intend to purchase this shoe.

4 Stars Great for Running and Overall Fitness
I took up running as part of my fitness routine about 2 years ago. I don’t run more than about 5-7 miles in any given week, but I do add running (treadmill or pavement) to my 6-7 hours of exercise per week. With that in mind here are my opinions on these shoes.

They perform well indoors and out. Comfortable in all weather conditions hot or cold(I live in the Midwest so the coolest outdoor runs I attempt are in the 40’s). I feel like they wick away moisture very well as my feet never feel excessively hot or “prune-y” after a workout. They are very light weight which I found as a huge plus over my previous workout shoes.

My only concern for someone who is using these shoes as I do for running and general cardio sessions is that for step work I seem to feel like the shoe doesn’t have as much support in the side walls of the shoes, which is to be expected from running shoes keeping them light weight. I wouldn’t call this a negative however like I said if you are using them as I do for multi purpose workout shoes and have ankle issues or need that support this might not fit your needs.

I purchased these from sports shoe retailer (F.Line) that offered me a 14 day return policy, which IMO is a killer deal since this type of shoe can run upwards of $90 per pair. After the first 3 days I wanted to eat, sleep and run in them! I also bought a pair of insoles to replace the Asics factory ones. The stoke ones are comfortable, but the extra $20 spent on the insoles was well worth it. The sales person that sold them to me said that he is able to make is running shoes last longer because of the insoles not breaking down at the arch area. I believe it. I have had this pair for 9 months and am just starting to notice that my knees are getting slightly sore after a full hour of working out. I know thats a sign they are wearing out. I am going to shop for a new pair this week- I will be putting these up against the Under Armor Running shoes(with sleeve). I would have no problems picking these exact shoes again.

Just for comparison sake I have had owned the following brands of workout/running shoes in the past-

Nike AirMax TrailWind…These just did not fit my feet right, they were comfortable to walk around in in the store, but after the first workout I hung them up and they are my “run to the grocery store” shoes now…to the tune of $78- I have found that I prefer a wide width with most of my Nike workout shoes.

New Balance 621 – These are an all terrain shoe that I loved. I bought them with the intent that I would only run in these outside, but then I found they were very comfortable indoors as well with all my workouts. When I went to buy another pair they didn’t have the size I needed (wide width)and I was too impatient to order them. Found the Asics and overall like the Asics much better.

I have never written a review on a shoe before so I hope someone finds this helpful. The shoe is cute and light (not heavy on the foot). I think it’s a good walking shoe but not the best running shoe. I don’t usually get blisters and I did with this shoe. It took a few days to break the shoe in. I am not a avid runner but I do a little, maybe 6 miles at the most in a day but this is a combination of running and walking and that’s when I got the blister. With the 3 miles that I do more regularly, no blisters. Overall, a decent shoe but nothing like my Adidas Microbounce that I wore out prior to buying this pair.
